Produk Dari Lava - Rhyolite


Dari lava gunung berapi akan terbentuk beberapa batuan atau mineral lain. Salah satunya dipanggil Rhyolite (i.e., rock from lava). Rhyolite boleh diubah menjadi batu hiasan.

Rhyolite is used for construction aggregate and was used for tools.

Di Amerika Syarikat ada sebuah bandar atau pekan nama Rhyolite. Kini ia sebuah bandar hantu (ghost town). Dulunya Rhyolite terkenal dengan lombong emas. Kini emasnya sudah habis. Lombong pun sudah tutup. Yang tinggal bandar hantu Rhyolite.

Although it is now a ghost town, Rhyolite was a booming gold mine in the early 1900s. Rhyolite is located near Beatty, Nevada, on the way to Death Valley, California. The town was named after the plentiful Rhyolite stone in the area.
