Sebelum pengukuran pasukan Nepal dan China pada 2019 dan 2020 beberapa pasukan survey lain telah mengukur ketinggian Puncak Everest. Previous measurements had come to different results. In 1975, Chinese experts had confirmed the altitude of 8,848 meters, which is also officially recognized in Nepal. In 2005, Chinese surveyors determined a height of 8844.43 meters – with the note that there were three and a half metres of snow on it, which again totalled 8,848 meters.  In between, in 1999, there was a measurement by US scientists who determined an altitude of 8,850 metres by GPS evaluation. The result of a Nepalese survey in spring 2019 is still pending. Everest’s height was first determined by a British team around 1856 as 29,002 feet. But the most accepted figure has been 29,028 feet, which was determined by the Survey of India in 1954. Selain pasukan geodetik Nepal negara China juga telah menghantar pasukan ukur ke puncak Evereat. Mereka berjaya tiba Puncak Everest pada bulan Mei 2020. Ketika itu dunia masih berdepan dengan ancaman virus Covid 19. Ketinggian Everest 8848.86 meter / 29,035 feet hasil pengukuran pasukan Nepal dan China. The top of the world’s tallest peak is now officially at 29,031.7 feet. That is slightly higher than Nepal’s previous measurement and about 13 feet higher than China’s. Berapakah ketinggian Puncak Everest? Nepal Survey Authority telah menghantar pasukan geodetik untuk melakukan pengukuran ketinggian Puncak Everest. Misi pengukuran dengan GPS dilakukan pada 2019. One of the Nepalese surveyors reportedly stayed at the peak for two hours, and lost a toe to frostbite, in 2019 measuring expedition. They also have to measure the thickness of ice and snow underfoot, because they want a reading from the actual rock mountain, not the ice - and for that they need to also bring a ground-penetrating radar. Dalam arena pendakian puncak gunung tertinggi dunia ada istilah yang disebut 'Eight Thousanders'. Apakah Eight Thousanders dan ada berapa banyak ET? The world has 14 independent mountain peaks that rise above 8,000 meters (26,247 feet) in elevation, known as the "eight-thousanders". They are all located in the Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges in Asia, spread across Nepal, China (Tibet), and Pakistan. Nirmal Purja, the legendary mountaineer who completed all 14 of the world's 8,000-meter peaks in a record 189 days in 2019, reportedly died during a 2026 expedition on Broad Peak, Pakistan. Kat FIFA World Cup awal pagi tadi england menang lawan perancis. Team england pakai jersey Puma. Perancis pakai Nike. Kalau baca pasal Puma kita akan jumpa nama CEO Jochem Zeitz. Dia jadi CEO Puma lama juga. Dari 1993 sampai 2011. CEO Puma .. Jochem Zeitz Beberapa tahun kemudian Jochem Zeitz berpindah kerja menjadi CEO Harley Davidson. Hebat Zeitz ni dari Puma ke Harley Davidson pula. Zeitz berada di Harley hingga tahun 2025. Zeitz sebagai CEO Harley Davidson Kini Jochem Zeitz giat dalam NGO Zeitz Foundation. Antara aktiviti besar NGO tersebut melibat penjagaan habitat wildlife dan environmental conservation di Afrika. Jochem Zeitz turut memiliki villa besar dan bisnes eco tourism. Beliau membangun pusat pelancungan dan ladang habitat wildlife di lokasi nama Kanuyi, Kenya. Zeitz memiliki tanah di Kenya dengan keluasan lima puluh ribu ekar.
