PhD on Deformation and NCG Publication


Hiddo Phd thesis "The Elements of Deformation Analysis" submitted to TU Delft and the examining committee consists of Profs Ramon Hanssen and Welter Welsch as promoter. The other members include Profs Simkooei, Sneeuw, Klees, and Tiberius. The thesis was also published by NCG.

Bila membaca sejarah Abbasid khususnya pada era awal, era Harun Al-Rashid dan sebelumnya juga, kita akan jumpa mengenai Barmakid. Keluarga Barmakid dikata berasal dari Parsi dan dulunya pernah menganut agama Buddha. Pertama memeluk Islam kalangan keluarga Barmakid adalah Khalid ibn Barmakid (d.782). Beliau memeluk Islam sekitar tahun 720an. Keluarga Barmakid pernah menjadi pembesar Abbasid yang mendapat kepercayaan istana Abbasid Harun Al-Rashid.
