Lothar Grundig (b.1944)

 

Lothar graduated with thesis Datenverwaltungs konzepte für typische Aufgaben aus der Ingenieurgeodäsie (Data management concepts for typical tasks of engineering geodesy) Stuttgart 1987 (Habilitation) .

The following taken from a FIG paper - Korea Conference (source);

Prof Dr-Ing Lothar Gründig graduated Dipl.-Ing in Geodesy 1970, 1975 Dr.-Ing, 1987 habilitation at Stuttgart University. Since 1988 Professor of Geodesy, Adjustment and Engineering Surveying at the Technical University of Berlin.

At Researchgate his name spells Gruendig (source).

Bila membaca sejarah Abbasid khususnya pada era awal, era Harun Al-Rashid dan sebelumnya juga, kita akan jumpa mengenai Barmakid. Keluarga Barmakid dikata berasal dari Parsi dan dulunya pernah menganut agama Buddha. Pertama memeluk Islam kalangan keluarga Barmakid adalah Khalid ibn Barmakid (d.782). Beliau memeluk Islam sekitar tahun 720an. Keluarga Barmakid pernah menjadi pembesar Abbasid yang mendapat kepercayaan istana Abbasid Harun Al-Rashid. Menurut Britannica, Barmakid adalah - link ; Barmakids , priestly  family  of Iranian origin, from the city of  Balkh  in Khorāsān, who achieved prominence in the 8th century as scribes and viziers to the early  Abbāsid  caliphs.
