Test 2 Sghu4863


Test 2 for Sghu4863 (Industrial Survey) was held today starts at 12 noon. It covers topic on underground survey and introduction to geodetic monitoring. The test was supposedly held last week but has to be postponed. Students asked for postponement because they were busy with PSM Proposal submission task. Three students absent because they were away due to family matters.

Bila membaca sejarah Abbasid khususnya pada era awal, era Harun Al-Rashid dan sebelumnya juga, kita akan jumpa mengenai Barmakid. Keluarga Barmakid dikata berasal dari Parsi dan dulunya pernah menganut agama Buddha. Pertama memeluk Islam kalangan keluarga Barmakid adalah Khalid ibn Barmakid (d.782). Beliau memeluk Islam sekitar tahun 720an. Keluarga Barmakid pernah menjadi pembesar Abbasid yang mendapat kepercayaan istana Abbasid Harun Al-Rashid.
