Setem Pos Keluaran Tahun 1974


Setem Pos yang dikeluar saban tahun dapat mencerita sedikit peristiwa dan sejarah yang berlaku pada tahun berkenaan. Sepanjang tahun 1974 ada enam setem yang dikaluarkan.

Bila membaca sejarah Abbasid khususnya pada era awal, era Harun Al-Rashid dan sebelumnya juga, kita akan jumpa mengenai Barmakid. Keluarga Barmakid dikata berasal dari Parsi dan dulunya pernah menganut agama Buddha. Pertama memeluk Islam kalangan keluarga Barmakid adalah Khalid ibn Barmakid (d.782).
