Shishapangma Main Summit (8,027m)

Empat belas puncak tertinggi dunia ada nama lain sebagai jolokan / gandingan.

1). Mount Everest: 8,848 meters (Nepal / China)

3). Kangchenjunga: 8,586 meters (Five treasure of the snow)

4). Lhotse: 8,516 meters (Everest's southern neighbor) 

5). Makalu: 8,485 meters (The four sided pyramid)

6). Cho Oyu: 8,188 meters (the easiest of the fourteen) 

7). Dhaulagiri I: 8,167 meters (The White Mountain) 

8). Manaslu: 8,163 meters (Mountain of The Spirit) 

9). Nanga Parbat: 8,126 meters (The Killer Mountain)

10). Annapurna I: 8,091 meters (The deadliest 8,000er) 

11). Gasherbrum I: 8,080 meters (Hidden Peak) 

12). Broad Peak: 8,051 meters (K2's neighbor) 

13). Gasherbrum II: 8,035 meters (the Karakoram's most accessible) 

14). Shishapangma: 8,027 meters (the last 8,000er to fall).

Shishapangma was called the last 8,000er to "fall" (be first climbed) because political isolation in Tibet kept foreign climbers away. A Chinese team led by Xu Jing achieved the first ascent on May 2, 1964. While other peaks were climbed in the 1950s, Shishapangma remained untouched due to restricted access.
