Crustacean Nama Bob Marley


Selain Elton John ada juga spesis haiwan serangga yang dibubuh nama Bob Marley. Ada pulak sama crab/ketam nama Michael Jackson.

They gave it a name: Desis bobmarleyi - Bob Marley’s Intertidal Spider. The name was inspired by a song by the Reggae singer and writer, “High Tide or Low Tide.” The name seemed fitting for the spider, which lives full-time in the zone between the limits of high and low tides.

The Bob Marley spider (Desis bobmarleyi) was named by a team of three Australian marine biologists and arachnologists: Dr. Barbara Baehr (Queensland Museum), Dr. Robert Raven (Queensland Museum), and Dr. Danilo Harms (University of Hamburg).
