Marine gravity filed determination - U of Calgary (1996)


Another MSc work at U of Calgary is "Detailed marine gravity field  determination by combination of heterogenous data". The research was done by Jinwen Li and submitted 1996. The research was supervised by MGS and JARB with help from IN Tziavos of Greece.

Bila membaca sejarah Abbasid khususnya pada era awal, era Harun Al-Rashid dan sebelumnya juga, kita akan jumpa mengenai Barmakid. Keluarga Barmakid dikata berasal dari Parsi dan dulunya pernah menganut agama Buddha. Pertama memeluk Islam kalangan keluarga Barmakid adalah Khalid ibn Barmakid (d.782). Beliau memeluk Islam sekitar tahun 720an. Keluarga Barmakid pernah menjadi pembesar Abbasid yang mendapat kepercayaan istana Abbasid Harun Al-Rashid.
