G&G's PhD candidate WA has completed writing her dissertation and will have her thesis examination very soon. She presented her work in a special presentation session with all G&G community as preparation for her viva. The session was quite lengthy lasting for about ninety minutes. A special meeting was held this evening to discuss and evaluating FYP topic submitted by students recently. The committee look through at the synopsis and do the vetting. Five committee members came for the meeting. - - - - -

An introduction session on geoid-related topics has been presented to students whom have interest in these topics. The presentation was held in one of classrooms in T06. It was a car-free day and that was the reason why it was held in T06 instead of C02. Two students came to listen and one of them continuing to work on gravity-related topic. I was given the task to handle lecture to a postgraduate taught-course subject Adv Eng Survey. The subject is offered to group of candidates enroll in MSc Geomatic by taught-course (eight of them).
